Sekimoto "Hakata Meimono Mentaiko and Cheese Bread" - A crispy and light "local" bread with juicy mentaiko and a light texture is now available nationwide.

Sekimoto "Hakata Specialty Mentaiko and Cheese Bread"

Sekimoto's Fukuoka store limited menu "Hakata Meimono Mentaiko and Cheese Bread" will be available at stores nationwide from July 1 to 31. The price is 980 yen (tax included).

Hakata Meibutsu Mentaiko and Cheese Bread

A "local" bread baked to a crisp and light texture with succulent mentaiko (cod roe), a specialty of Hakata, Fukuoka.

Mentaiko and cubes of cheese are mixed into the wheat, which is characterized by its strong aroma and rustic flavor, and Edam cheese is sprinkled on the top to finish the baking process. The hard dough, like French bread, is combined with plump and juicy mentaiko and two kinds of savory cheeses.

When sliced thickly and lightly toasted for 2 to 3 minutes, you can enjoy the crispy and light surface texture, the strong aroma of wheat, and the rich taste of cod roe and cheese.

As a variation, "Genovese-style toast" toasted with basil sauce is recommended. The combination of the richness of the cheese and the fresh flavor of the basil is exquisite and has an unforgettable taste.

It is sold at 36 stores across Japan and can be ordered in advance. Reservations can be made in-store, by phone or through the official application.
