I actually tried the Iberico Pork Udon, a side dish offered at Kura Sushi. The price is 450 yen (tax included). Limited quantity.

Iberico Pork Udon

The "Iberico Pork Udon" is a perfect match of juicy, fatty Iberico pork and Kurazushi's signature broth. Only the highest grade of Iberian pork, "bejota," is used in this dish.


The soup stock soaked in the fat from the pork is so delicious! It is rich but not overpowering, and the aroma of yuzu adds just the right amount of freshness. The udon is chewy and smooth. It also goes well with the soup stock.



And the topped Iberian pork udon is delicious! The more you bite into it, the more the fat, flavor, and sweetness spreads. The amount is just right, so you won't feel deprived. You can even add shichimi (seven spices) if you like! This is a dish that will satisfy both adults and children.
