pumpkin 1/4 of a piece
ground toasted sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
Sugar and soy sauce 1 teaspoon

Ingredients (3-4 servings

) 1/4 kabocha
1 tablespoon ground sesame
1 teaspoon sugar and soy sauce

Remove seeds from kabocha with a spoon and peel the skin in places.


Cut into 2-3 cm cubes, place skin side down in a pot, and add enough water to cover.


Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and boil for 5-6 minutes. When the pumpkin becomes soft, drain the water from the pot and drain well.


Add the ground sesame seeds, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan, and gently mix the pumpkin so as not to crush it.
