Juicy and crispy! Broccoli Steak" recipe

Simply cut broccoli roughly in half lengthwise, and sizzle it in olive oil. The steamed broccoli is fresh and the garlic adds a nice accent!

Material ( For 2 persons )
broccoli 1 share
olive oil 1 tablespoon
garlic (Allium sativum) a dart
water (esp. cool, fresh water, e.g. drinking water) 2 tablespoons
soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Lemon (to taste) 1/4 to 1/2 of a pound

Ingredients

1 broccoli plant
1 tablespoon olive oil
A clove of garlic
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 to 1/2 lemon (optional)

Directions

Wash broccoli and cut in half lengthwise.

Peel garlic and cut into thin slices. Cut lemon into wedges.


Heat olive oil and garlic in a frying pan over low heat and remove when fragrant and crispy.



Place broccoli cut side down and cook until sizzling and browned.

The photo shows one serving (1/2 broccoli plant) cooked

Flip and lightly grill, sprinkle with water, cover and steam over low heat for 8-10 minutes.



Remove lid, add soy sauce, toss with broccoli, and serve. Garnish with garlic and lemon and it is ready to serve!

If you are worried about the skin on the stem, I suggest you scrape off the outside thinly before cooking. Broccoli can be used in a variety of dishes, but I personally like this one the best as the broccoli is the star of the dish. All you have to do is split it in half and bake it, so it's easy!
