Sankt Gallen "Pineapple Ale" Juicy fruit beer with bubbles! Uses 600 kg of golden pine

Sankt Gallen will release "Pineapple Ale", a fruit beer that uses 600 kg of golden pine for preparation, on April 23. Limited to summer until the end of September.

The one used is golden pine, which is cultivated at a Del Monte managed plantation and hand-cut at a factory in Yokohama. At Del Monte, the focus is on hand-cutting lines that do not stress the fruits, and you can use fruits with no loss of juice or aroma for beer.

Approximately 600 kg of golden pineapple is used for each preparation, and the fruits are added to the wort before the beer is fermented. By fermenting the sugar content of the fruit and wort together, the beer has a juicy pineapple flavor up to the foam.

The base beer uses Brut IPA style. Brut IPA is a beer style inspired by Brut champagne, with a strong hop flavor and a very dry, light bitter taste. By deliberately scraping off the richness of the malt, the gorgeous hop flavor and juiciness of the pineapple are emphasized. Alcohol 5%.

The content is 330 ml, and the estimated price is 506 yen (tax included). Available at online shops, Yokohama Takashimaya, Sogo Yokohama, etc. You can also enjoy it in barrels at restaurants that handle Sankt Gallen barrels.
