● Materials
Click here for what to prepare. I refer to the recipe of the Co-op Pal System.
Edamame 200g (7.05oz)
Silk tofu 150g (5.29oz)
Milk 50ml (1.69us fl oz)
3 tablespoons sugar
Edamame can be frozen edamame or salted.
● How to make
Boil the edamame, take it out of the pod and chop it into small pieces.
Put the chopped edamame in a plastic bag and tap it lightly with a pestle, and crush it until some grains remain.
If the bag is torn, replace it
Add silk tofu, milk and sugar to a plastic bag, rub it well by hand and mix. When it becomes smooth, put it in the freezer and freeze it every 4 to 5 hours. If you take it out several times on the way and squeeze it in, it will have a smoother texture.
Serve in a bowl and you're done!
● What is the taste?
Good! The sweetness and lush scent of edamame, which leaves a crushed feeling, is insanely matched with the sweetness and fragrance of tofu. It has a crispy, fine ice texture and a smooth mouthfeel.
Natural taste without being too sweet
"Zunda gelato" is a healthy handmade snack made from edamame and tofu. It's exceptional if you chill it well and eat it on a hot day! If you freeze it too much and it becomes ticky, move it to room temperature or the refrigerator to thaw it before eating.
