KALDI's Marron Glacé

The purple and chestnut pattern package is a landmark. It contains 80g (2.82oz) (about 10 pieces) and the price is 248 yen (tax included).


When you think of marron glacé, you might think of it as a sugar-coated one, but this one has a simple appearance like a peeled chestnut. I think the color is dark, but I can't tell if it's due to cooking or the type of chestnut.



The texture is refreshing, but the inside is moist. The sweet and mellow scent of Western liquor (brandy) rises, and you can enjoy a luxurious feeling. It's like a Mont Blanc cake!


The sweetness itself is modest. The taste is just between the sweet and general marron glacé and the simple peeled chestnuts. Marron glacé is too sweet, but chestnut itself is not enough, it seems to satisfy the delicate heart.


It's edible size and recommended not only for snacks but also for wine snacks. Even with ice cream and pancake toppings, it seems that you can easily produce a fashionable taste.
