Discovered "Marron Glacé Broken" sold by Futaba Foods in KALDI. Marron glacé has the image of a high-class confectionery, but it was reasonably priced at 498 yen (tax included) with 130g (4.59oz), so I bought it and tried it!


"Marron Glacé Broken" is an assortment of marrons crushed during the manufacturing process of Marron Glacé. It features an elegant taste of liqueur.


When you open the gold-shining package, you will find a pack containing a broken marron glacé. When I take it out of the pack, there are some small pieces of crumbled chestnuts, but there are also quite a few chestnuts that are almost like a whole. I'm happy.


Delicious! Even if the shape is broken, the taste is perfect. The surface has a crispy texture, and when chewed, it has a soft texture and a moist mouthfeel. The sweetness of chestnuts, wrapped in the fluffy scent of Western liquor, will heal you.
