UMMER FESTIVAL at Fujiya's Confectionery Store Under the title of "SWEET SUMMER FESTIVAL Fujiya's Summer Festival," a series of summer festival-inspired sweets will be released at Fujiya's Confectionery Store from July 5, 2012. Here is a summary of the summer-inspired sweets.

It's summer! It's a festival! Yo-Yo Cake

This cake is inspired by the yo-yo, a staple of summer festivals. A layer of sweet and sour berry mousse and pudding is covered with a berry glaze with a sense of juice on the top, and a yo-yo pattern is drawn with two-color white chocolate coated cake. Scattered strawberry cereal chocolate accents the texture. Priced at 561 yen (tax included, same as below); on sale July 5.

Milk Crepe A playful milk crepe with the image of chocolate bananas at a festival. Two layers of chocolate cream and banana cream are layered, and the top is decorated with chocolate glaze and colored spray chocolate. Priced at 540 yen; on sale July 5.

It's summer! It's a festival! Goldfish Parfait

Yogurt-flavored chanterelle cream is combined with sour lemon jelly and cool rum jelly, and topped with colorful fruits. Bright red goldfish swim in the water, creating a perfect summer festival atmosphere. Priced at 561 yen, it goes on sale July 19.

This "summer" looking jelly is made by layering melon jelly, chanterelle cream, and watermelon jelly. The watermelon seeds scattered on the top of the bright red watermelon jelly are made of crunchy cereal chocolate, so you can enjoy the texture as well. Priced at 496 yen, it will go on sale on August 2.


The four summer festival sweets come with one of two types of uchiwa-style festival Peko-chan paper plates.

Smile Switch together! It's summer! Shuwapachi Fireworks Parfait

A collaboration between the Smile Switch Club, which anyone who loves cakes can join, and Nihonbashi Marutamaya, a fireworks master. The parfait cups are designed so that when you look into them from above, you can feel the fireworks and the star-filled sky that colors the night sky.


Chantilly cream with yogurt cream is layered with lychee jelly and lemon jelly to create the image of the night sky. When the lychee jelly and lemon jelly are mixed together, you can enjoy the sizzling texture.


The top is decorated with chocolate with crackling candy, pomegranate jelly, kiwi, mango and pineapple in syrup, to represent fireworks spreading large in the night sky. The crunchy texture of the jelly and the crackling of the chocolate remind one of a fireworks display, making this a summery dessert. The product will be on sale from August 2 to August 29. The price is 594 yen.
