" Tendon Tenya restaurants will sell "Unatoro Tendon," a bowl of tempura with eel for the first time in four years, for one week only starting July 27 (except at some locations).

The "Unatoro Tendon" is a limited-edition product perfect for the "Doyou no Ushi" (day of the ox), combining three pieces of "Unagitendon" (grilled eel tempura) and "Tororo from Tokachi, Hokkaido" (grated yam produced in Hokkaido), which is characterized by its smooth texture. The "Unagi-ten" (eel tempura), crispy fried eel kabayaki, has a fluffy texture and aroma that fills the mouth, and Tenya's signature sweet and spicy sauce enhances the delicious flavor. Together with the refreshing and thirst-quenching "Tororo" (grated yam), the dish is sure to blow away the summer heat.

The dish comes with miso soup and is priced at 1,000 yen (tax included). A To go item, "Unatoro Tendon Bento (Unatoro tempura bowl) with oshinko (Japanese pickles)" is also available for 1,000 yen (with grated yam separately and without miso soup). Both are available from July 27 to August 2.
