This is a powdered drink that becomes "cream soda-like" when poured with water. ...Just pouring water into the powder turns it into a carbonated drink? This one is too strange, isn't it?

Uji Kintoki Green Tea

"Uji Kintoki Green Tea" is a powdered instant tea made from Uji matcha green tea and Hokkaido azuki beans. Pour water (about 100 ml) for 1 tablespoon (about 10 g) of powder, stir well, and it is ready to drink.

Looking at the ingredients, there is "baking soda" in it, so this must be what the fluff is. Like (more than?) carbonation. The bubbles are fizzy and look just like cream soda. The big bubbles disappeared when I stirred it.

When I drank it, I could feel a faint pop, though not a real carbonation. The mild sweetness and melon flavor melts into the drink. It is quite sweet!

Personally, I thought it would be better served over vanilla ice cream or shaved ice than by itself. I also think it tastes better if you use water that is as cool as possible, or add ice cubes.
