Crayon Shin-chan's Obento Crayon Shin-chan's Obento, an ekiben from Akita Prefecture named after the "Family City" project started to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the start of the "Crayon Shin-chan" anime and movie, will be available at some of the "Tabibento" ekiben stores. This item is a must-have for "Crayon Shin-chan" fans and makes a great souvenir. The price is 1,480 yen (tax included).

In the "Family City" project, three of Shin-chan's hometowns, Akita Prefecture (where his father Hiroshi is from), Kumamoto Prefecture (where his mother Misae is from), and Saitama Prefecture, where Shin-chan's family currently lives, have joined forces as a "family" to work on various projects, From Akita Prefecture, where Hiroshi is from, "Crayon Shin-chan's Bento" was created by Sekineya Corporation (headquartered in Akita City, Akita Prefecture), which was founded in 1902.

The lunch box includes side dishes that children like, bell peppers, which Shin-chan "hates," and curry-flavored kamaboko with "tonburi" (pork belly) produced in Akita Prefecture. The rice is "Shiro" rice made from Akita Komachi rice produced in Akita Prefecture (using a film with Shiro printed on it). Shin-chan furikake and original cookies are also included.
