GONCHA Matcha Frozen Tea and Chocolate Frozen

GONCHA will introduce two new frozen menu items, Matcha Frozen Tea and Chocolate Frozen, on April 20, 2023. The Mango Alishan Frozen Tea will also continue to be available.

Matcha

Frozen Tea "Matcha Frozen Tea" is made from matcha green tea whose aroma, flavor, and richness have been maximized through the "steaming" and "heating" processes, which are the key to its flavor. It is a refreshing cup with a gentle green appearance.

GONCHA's original blend of matcha tea, which maximizes aroma, flavor, and richness, is used to create a cool, refreshing frozen tea. The bright, vibrant color is reminiscent of a tea plantation with buds sprouting.

Up to three additional toppings can be added. The sweetness and amount of ice cannot be adjusted. Pearl (tapioca) is the recommended topping. The brown sugar sweetness and sticky texture will make it more like a dessert.

The Matcha Frozen Tea is priced at 590 yen for a medium size (tax included).


Uji Matcha

Frozen

Tea "Uji Matcha Frozen Tea" is sold exclusively at the Kyoto Niningsaka store, replacing "Matcha Frozen Tea. The cool, crunchy texture of this refreshing drink will make you feel cool. Japanese green tea from Uji is used to create a light and refreshing taste. The flavorful aroma of Uji matcha green tea and its gentle sweetness are a perfect complement to this dish.

The medium size is priced at 620 yen.


Chocolate

Frozen

"Chocolate Frozen" is a cool, refreshing frozen drink made from chocolate milk with a slightly bitter chocolate cocoa taste. You can enjoy the rich flavor and full-bodied taste.

Up to three additional toppings can be added. Sweetness and the amount of ice cannot be adjusted. Milk foam is the recommended topping. The combination of the salty taste of the milk foam and the sweetness of the chocolate, which is rich but not too salty, makes for a very addictive experience.

The Chocolate Frozen is priced at 570 yen for a medium size.


Mango

Alishan

Frozen Tea "Mango Alishan Frozen Tea" is a standard item. Alishan Oolong tea, a type of Taiwanese tea, is combined with pulpy mango sauce to create a fruity frozen tea with a cool, refreshing taste. The refreshing flavor of Alishan Oolong tea and the rich aroma and gentle sweetness of Taiwanese mango can be enjoyed.

Nata de coco is recommended as a topping. Its crunchy texture and sweet coconut flavor go well with the fruit, and the slight sweetness is accentuated with each bite.

The Mango Alishan Frozen Tea is priced at 570 yen for a medium size.


The Oolong White Frozen Tea and Tieguanyin Frozen Tea will be discontinued on April 20, 2023.
