ITO EN will release its second Japanese tea-based fruit tea, "Moonlit Night Tea and Tomorrow," nationwide on September 11 in 500ml (16.91us fl oz) PET bottles at an estimated price of 172 yen (tax included).

The new fruit tea offers a "new encounter between tea and fruit" by blending the refreshing taste of fruit with cool green tea and fragrant oolong tea. This new series follows on the heels of the first Japanese tea-based fruit tea, "Clear, Cloudy, Sometimes Tea. This time, autumn-inspired fruits such as apples, grapes, lemons, and oranges are used, and plant-derived lactic acid bacteria are blended in the tea.


The package design is based on the image of a scene in which a prince, surrounded by fruits, hands a cup of tea to a princess. The back of the package also features a story (three types in all) to enhance the drinker's rest time. Stories were solicited on monogatary.com, a novel submission site operated by Sony Music Entertainment, on the theme of "The Princess, the Prince, and the Moonlit Night," and three winners were selected from over 400 stories: the Grand Prize, the Natsue Shiomi Award, and the Ito En Special Award.
