Steak A hearty dish consisting of rice topped with vegetables such as lettuce and avocado, a cheeseburger steak prepared in the restaurant, and topped with special chili con carne sauce and savory roasted cheddar cheese. The spicy aroma of the chili con carne sauce and the sizzling sensation of the cheddar cheese seared just before serving whet your appetite.
The chili con carne sauce is a spicy tomato-based sauce in which beef and three kinds of beans (red kidney beans, chickpeas, and green peas) are simmered with herbs and spices such as cumin, and aromatic vegetables such as onions and green peppers. It goes great with fresh vegetables, juicy hamburger steak, and rich cheddar cheese. Squeeze a squeeze of lemon (served separately) for a refreshing change of flavor.
