Ken-Elephant will release "Yoshinoya Miniature Collection Vol. 2" in late October. It will be available in two forms: capsule toy and blind box. Ken-Elephant's online store has begun taking reservations for the blind BOX 6-packs.

Yoshinoya Miniature Collection Vol. 2

The first Yoshinoya Miniature Collection, released in September 2021, was so well received for its elaborate modeling that Ken-Elephant has decided to release a second version.

This time, all the menu items in the lineup are made with "beef". In addition to side dishes, there are also lucky items included at random. These products are fun to collect in addition to the first lineup, or to combine and decorate.

Negitama Beef Bowl with Kimchi

The Negitama Beef Bowl is a bowl of rice topped with a heaping pile of green onions as large as the beef and the brightly colored yolk of an egg served on top of it. For a side dish, we chose kimchi, which goes well with the beef, and a set of chopsticks. The finely chopped green onions and kimchi leaves are also carefully sculpted. Size (approx.) Gyudon extra large (with oshinko)

The classic "Gyu-don" (beef bowl), which was also popular in the first volume, is now available in a special serving size. The meat soaked with plenty of sauce and the wilted onions are carefully represented, and the Aritayaki bowl for the extra large size is also printed in detail. Yoshinoya uses different containers for small, medium, large, and special portions, and it is fun to compare the patterns of the other containers. Beef suki-nabe

A limited-time menu item that is released every year during the cold season. The nabe consists of beef, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, silken tofu, and kishimen noodles. It is a faithful representation of how the beef is stewed in the special sukiyaki sauce. Underneath, where the handles are moved and the pot is shifted, the blue solid fuel used to heat the pot is also provided. An egg, tray, and chopsticks are also included in the set. Size (approx.) Beef plate set meal

A popular set meal menu featuring beef soaked in sauce and served on a flat plate. The set includes a small bowl of egg, miso soup, rice, tray, and chopsticks. Size (approx.) W5.5 cm.

To go set (with miso soup)

The only To go menu in this series. The ginger and shichimi (seven spices) in the packet, represented using clear parts, are also small but elaborately crafted. The To go set that appeared in the first volume also comes with miso soup this time. Size (approx.) beef bowl W2.7cm / miso soup W1.7cm.

Lucky item: 47 eyes "ladle

The "ladle" used exclusively for serving beef bowls was originally developed by Yoshinoya. The "47" in the name comes from the number of holes in the ladle, a number determined through trial and error by Yoshinoya to ensure that the beef, onions, and sauce are evenly distributed. The beef head part can be placed on the ladle to recreate the scene as if it were actually served. Size (approx.) W7.8cm (total length with parts connected).
