How does the pork shabu with myoga sauce taste?
Thin, moist, tender pork contrasts nicely with the raw, crunchy texture of myoga and green onions. The fresh aroma overrides the flavor of the pork and the richness of the fat. The subtle spiciness of the myoga gives the dish a mature taste. It is the perfect accompaniment to a cold beer or sake.It is of course delicious eaten as is, but it is also delicious topped with cabbage, cucumbers, and other vegetables with a slightly thicker sauce. It is also recommended as an ingredient for somen noodles.
