Hanpen Sandwich with Ume Shiso Shirasu
Ingredients
1 slice of hanpen50g (1.76oz) dried young sardines
3 dried plums
4 shiso leaves
2 teaspoons sesame oil

Cut Hanpen into 4 equal pieces along the diagonal. Make a slit on the side of the hanpen.Wash and drain the shiso leaves, and cut the stems. 3.
Remove seeds from dried plums, break up with chopsticks, and mix with shirasu.
Place the shiso leaves in the Hanpen cutouts and put (3) between the shiso leaves.
Put sesame oil in a frying pan, place (4) on the pan, and cook over medium heat.
