New "Koku-Sei-Pistachio" Bread will be available at Sakimoto stores from May 1 to 31 in limited quantities and by pre-order. The official online store will also begin accepting reservations on April 22. 1 loaf size (120 x 120 x 120mm) is priced at 1,000 yen (tax included).

The rich, mellow pistachio aroma fills the mouth with a flavor suitable for the season of fresh greenery. The bread is made with Canadian wheat, Hokkaido milk, and other ingredients, and pistachio nuts are mixed into the dough, which is then rolled into a marbled shape and baked. Three different types of ingredients are used: roasted pistachios, pistachio praline, and powdered pistachios, which have different aromas and textures.

Only Hokkaido milk is used to knead the dough, and the sweetness of the milk is combined with the pistachios to accentuate the flavor. The dough is also made using the hot water method, which gives the dough a moist and chewy texture. The green and white marble color contrasts with each other.

For a different recipe, we recommend topping the chocolate sauce with strawberries or blackcurrants. It is said that berries with a refreshing acidity and sweetness go well with the soft aroma of pistachio dough.
