DEAN & DELUCA will introduce "Avocado Toast [using Mottainai avocado]" and "Bacon & Egg Avocado Toast [using Mottainai avocado]" in collaboration with Dole, which will be available as café morning menus at some stores from April 1 to 30.

Avocado Toast [using Mottainai avocado]" is the first product of the "Mottainai Fruit" project, which aims to reduce food loss. It was created as a menu item using "Mottainai Avocados," which are out-of-spec avocados that would otherwise be discarded.

This open sandwich is made of country bread with a rich wheat flavor and a crispy crust, topped with a perfectly ripe avocado. The sandwich is sprinkled with muesli and finished with lemon juice and olive oil. The price is 562 yen (tax included).

Bacon and Egg Avocado Toast [Using Mottainai Avocado]" also uses Dole's Mottainai avocado. This long-selling avocado toast is topped with a half-boiled egg and bacon.

The richness of the half-boiled egg, with its yolk melting into the creamy avocado, and the crunchiness and flavor of the crispy bacon combine to offer a deep taste and a variety of textures. The price is 670 yen.

It is available at DEAN & DELUCA cafes and market stores in Hiroo, Atre Kawasaki, and Sheal Yokohama. However, the cafe stores are also available at Otemachi Metropia, NEWoMan Shinjuku, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu, and Mitsukoshi in Hoshigaoka. HIROKOJI HONMACHI are excluded. Some other stores may not carry the product, so please inquire individually. The morning menu will continue to be sold after the first collaboration with Dole ends.
