Donk Colomba

It will be sold as part of the San Remo brand of Italian fermented confections and other products. According to Donk, Easter is called "Pasqua" in Italian, and is celebrated by family and friends gathering together for a feast, and is considered a major national event on par with Christmas. Colombas are also an established part of the Easter celebration, displayed in the windows of cake shops and pearls before Easter.

Colomba means "dove" in Italian. It is made in the shape of a dove. The white dove is a symbol of resurrection and peace, and is said to herald happiness.

The traditional Donk method uses a lot of butter and eggs, orange peel, almond paste, and topping of arare sugar, and they are baked softly.

Don Quai, Don Quai Edité, Joanne, Marie-Catherine, and Dominique Jurand, a total of 140 stores carry the biscuits.
