Kuchifukudo x Maruko & Cojikoji "MARUKO & COJICOJI Dorayaki".

On April 1, each store of Japanese confectionery brand Kuchifukudo will release "MARUKO & COJICOJI Dorayaki" in collaboration with "Maruko and Koji Koji Koji. The price is 194 yen (tax included).

Maruko and Koji Koji appear in two different packages and branded on the surface of the dorayaki.

Dorayaki with a sweet red bean paste made from azuki beans produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido, sandwiched in a baked crust made from eggs raised in Mie Prefecture. It is branded with Kuchifukudo's original branding. The soft, moist crust and the friendly faces of the baked dorayaki make you feel warm and cozy even before you eat it, and enhances the gentle flavor of the dorayaki.

The package features a spring-like illustration from the picture book Marukoji. It is a perfect souvenir for the coming season.

In 1992, Momoko Sakura, author of "Chibi Maruko-chan" and "Kojikoji", first tried her hand at a series of illustrated stories for small children before they could read manga. The book will be released in three volumes. It contains heartwarming stories drawn in beautiful colors by Momoko Sakura.
