Here is a recipe for a cheesecake (style) that can easily be made in a rice cooker. This time, yogurt and pancake mix are used instead of cream cheese! The moist, smooth texture and rich flavor is just like cheesecake.
Cheesecake-like recipe in a rice cooker
Ingredients
400 g yogurt (unsweetened)
2 eggs
60 g sugar
150 g pancake mix
olive oil or salad oil to taste
Use plain unsweetened yogurt.
Directions
Mix yogurt, eggs, sugar, and pancake mix in a bowl.Spread a thin layer of olive oil or salad oil on the inside of the rice cooker and pour in the batter mixture.
Cook rice in the rice cooker as usual. If the rice is not cooked enough, cook it again (I cooked it twice in my 3-cup rice cooker).
Turn it over, remove it to a plate, and refrigerate it for an hour or so!
Cheesecake style in the rice cooker How does it taste?
When you take a bite, the texture is moist and smooth and wraps around your tongue. It also has a little bit of a springy elasticity, and my impression is that it is somewhere between a baked cheesecake and a rare cheesecake. It tastes just like cheesecake! The refreshing sourness and rich milkiness are so delicious that you may not even realize there is no cheese in it unless you are told.If you like, you can add dried fruit to the batter or spread jam on the top. All you have to do is mix the ingredients together and pop the rice cooker on, so there are no mistakes and it's really easy. You don't even need any special equipment to make it, so please try it whenever you think of it!
