FamilyMart "Souffle Pudding - Apricot & Mango

Soufflé Pudding Apricot & Mango", a sweet designed by store staff, will go on sale at FamilyMart stores in Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture from February 9, priced at 298 yen (tax included). The product will be available in other Kanto regions and Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures from February 16.

Soufflé Pudding" is a hybrid sweet that allows you to enjoy a fluffy soufflé and a melt-in-your-mouth pudding at the same time. it was launched in November 2018 and is currently the most popular sweet at FamilyMart. The total number of units sold in the series has exceeded 38 million (as of the end of January 2021).

This time, "Souffle Pudding - Apricot & Mango" is a Chinese-style souffle pudding with a cute panda branding that is made by placing a whole soft and moist apricot milk souffle on top of a smooth apricot milk pudding. Underneath the apricot milk pudding is a bright mango pudding, and mango whip is also squeezed into the middle layer to add an accent of flavor.


The idea came from a store staff member in Kanagawa Prefecture who is familiar with Chinatown. FamilyMart's popular "Souffle Pudding" is combined with "Apricot Bean Curd" and "Mango Pudding," both of which are staples of Chinese cuisine.
