Lotte has undergone a major renewal to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the launch of its long-selling product "Custard Cake". "Custard Cake" and "Custard Cake Party Pack" will be released on February 16th.
"Custard cake" is a product that combines fluffy cake with whipped custard cream and custard sauce. Upon renewal, we will further pursue the "fluffy feeling of the cake," which is the value unique to custard cake. We examined the formulation dozens of times, and repeated trial production and factory tests. With emulsification technology and new equipment, fine bubbles are stably created, and a dough that can maintain the bubbles even during baking is completed. The cake is finely textured and soft and palatable.
The custard cream and custard sauce have been renewed so that you can feel the richness of the eggs. The finish is not too sweet and not heavy, although it is satisfying to eat. Bake in the oven for 10 seconds to make a "roasted custard cake" and enjoy a crispy texture.
The price is around 300 yen for 6 pieces of "Custard Cake" and around 500 yen for 9 pieces of "Custard Cake Party Pack" (excluding tax). The package design has also been significantly redesigned.
