Malt drink "Nestlé Milo" is no longer sold

Nestlé Japan announced on December 8 that it will suspend sales of its three malt beverages, Nestlé Milo, due to difficulties in maintaining a stable supply.

The products to be suspended are as follows.

・ "Nestlé Milo Original 240g (8.47oz)"
・ "Nestlé Milo Original 700g (24.69oz)" (Limited to some channels)
・ "Nestlé Milo original sticks 5"

Sales of "Nestlé Milo Original 240g (8.47oz)" were suspended at the end of September, and shipments resumed on November 16th, but orders continued to be about 7 times higher than the previous year on a volume basis, far exceeding the supply plan. Nestlé Japan explains that it had to suspend sales again.

In addition, sales of "Nestlé Milo Original 700g (24.69oz)" and "Nestlé Milo Original Stick 5" have been decided to be suspended because it is expected that it will be difficult to continue stable supply.

The policy is to resume sales as soon as possible in the future, but it is said that it will take time to establish a sufficient supply system because the raw materials are imported from Singapore. Therefore, sales are expected to resume after March 2021.
