"Mikan Green Tea Tea Pack" is on sale from Fukujuen, a long-established tea shop in Kyoto. The price is 850 yen (excluding tax) in a 3g (0.11oz) x 10 pack bag.

"Mikan Green Tea Tea Pack" is the second in the scented green tea series, following "Lemon Green Tea" which was very popular this summer. For the tea leaves, we are particular about the taste and light blue (the color of the tea extract), and use "Kabusecha" carefully selected by the blender of Fukujuen from various tea types. By combining it with the peel of domestic mandarin oranges, which contains limonene and polyphenols, the tea is finished so that you can enjoy its appearance, taste, and aroma.


"Kabusecha" is tea picked from a tea garden covered with straw or cheesecloth about 7 days before the tea is picked. Kabusecha, which is a good combination of gyokuro and sencha, is used so that the color of the tea looks beautiful and delicious when combined with the peel of mandarin oranges.


The faint sweet scent of mandarin oranges is due to the scent component called limonene, which is abundant in citrus peels. In the cold winter, you can enjoy the warm "Mikan Green Tea" with hot water, and you can also feel the taste of tea with cold water.
