Lupicia's "Glass & Sorbet"

The world's tea specialty store "Lupicia". Of course, a wide variety of teas are also attractive, but I would like to introduce the ice cream that is only available at stores because it is very delicious.

"Glass & Sorbet" is an ice cream that combines carefully extracted tea with Hokkaido milk and fresh cream. This time, I bought 5 flavors at the Lupicia Jiyugaoka store (you can check the stores that handle them from the official website).

◆ Roasted tea

If you want to express the characteristics of ice cream in one word, "incense". The aroma peculiar to roasted tea is insisted on, and the rich aroma goes through the nose. There are plenty of chocolate chips in the ice cream. You can enjoy the crispy texture when chewed, and the gradation of roasted tea → chocolate taste when melted loosely on the tongue.

◆ Matcha

If you express it in one word, it is "sharp". The best matcha variety "Asahi" is used, and the refreshing sweetness and astringency spread slowly. The umami is strong but the aftertaste is super clean. If you like matcha, you will definitely love it.

◆ Royal milk tea

If you express it in one word, it is "rich". The moment you sip it, the powerful flavor of Assam tea rushes in. The deep richness of milk wraps it. Maybe it's the richest milk tea flavored ice cream I've ever eaten ...!

◆ Rose Royal

Lupicia's "Glass & Sorbet Zero Wire"

To express it in one word, "gorgeous". The sweet and sour taste of strawberries pops out in a mild black tea flavor. A pleasant accent with a bubble wrap seed texture. It leaves a gorgeous finish as if you drank sparkling wine with strawberries.

◆ Hatsukoi

If you express it in one word, it is "brilliant". While enjoying the refreshing flavor of green tea, I was surprised at the suddenly awakening acidity. Lemon-flavored sorbet appears from under the smooth ice cream. A refreshing and sour taste that vividly reminds me of my first love that didn't come true.

Lupicia's "Glass & Sorbet Hatsukoi"

Lupicia's "Glass & Sorbet" where you can enjoy the world of tea with ice cream. All flavors are of high quality that makes you groan as "a specialty store for tea ...". It's not cheap at 450 yen each, but I still wanted to buy it again.
