"Basque" and "Zakushu" released on March 26th at Lawson. It sounds like a spell when you hear only the name, but both are sweets that are particular about texture and ingredients.
Lawson's new work, which has developed various sweets including "premium roll cake". I ate it right away.
◆ Basque
"Basque Basque-style cheesecake" is a sweet based on the cheesecake that is widely eaten in the Basque region of Europe. Hokkaido cream, cream cheese, and milk are used as raw materials. The price is 215 yen (tax included).By changing the temperature of the baking process between top and bottom heat, the surface is moist while it is browned. It melts smoothly on your tongue. Heavier than the rare type, but more delicate than the baked type.
The main taste is the deep richness of cream cheese. The mellow sweetness is accompanied by the slight bitterness of caramel. Although it is small, it is rich and has a satisfying taste.
◆ Zakushu
"Zaku Zaku Choco Shoe" is a cream puff with a particular texture. Chocolate-coated cookie dough with sardines and topped with sugar-coated almond dice. It contains chocolate cream with cacao nibs and cookies. The price is 195 yen (tax included).A light texture created from a crispy chocolate coating, a dough for almonds that has a strong presence. A fragrant sweetness spreads with a crisp sound.
The cream inside has a heavy mouthfeel. Cacao nibs and cookies add an accent here and there. The texture is pleasant both inside and outside, and the bitter finish makes you never get tired of the last bite.
"Basque" and "Zakushu" where you can meet a taste that is a bit different from the usual cheesecake and cream puff. Lawson will continue to develop new types of sweets that are particular about texture and ingredients. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of products will come out next.
