A seasonal drink that has been introduced in Dean & DeLuca to liven up the holidays. I drank "Matcha pistachio" and "Espresso cherry chocolate". The price is 648 yen (tax included) for each S size.
Matcha pistachio is a drink made by melting fragrant Kyoto / Uji matcha with milk and combining it with pistachios. It is a colorful cup of green material combined.
The red sleeve shines
The first thing you will notice is the elegant astringency of matcha. The umami spreads slowly, and finally the nutty aroma comes out to the nose. The gradation of taste from matcha to pistachio is wonderful. I couldn't imagine what it tasted like before I drank it, but I enjoyed both flavors and it was rich. I want this combination to spread more!
Dark
Espresso Cherry Chocolate is a drink that combines espresso with chocolate, milk and cherry syrup. High cacao chocolate from Guatemala with an excellent balance of bitterness, acidity and aroma is used.
Espresso base
The mellow scent of espresso and chocolate melted together. The taste of cacao is different from that of a heavy chocolate drink, with the feeling that the acidity of cacao pops when you put it in your mouth. The sweet and sourness of the cherry is also linked, and the finish is very gorgeous.
Accented with topping texture
Matcha & pistachio green and cherry red are Christmas-like drinks. It will make the brilliant season even more exciting.
