Okinawan food "U-MAKU" dessert
Blue seal, Sanpin tea, Uchin tea!

Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) where lively events such as "Comic Market (Comiket)" are held. However, the area around Shinonome Station next door is quiet, and you can have a relaxing tea time at the fashionable Okinawan restaurant "U-MAKU-" near the park.

U-MAKU-is a shop in front of "Shinonome Park" which is a short walk northwest from Shinonome Station. It's a bar, a cafe, a restaurant, or a relaxed atmosphere.

When you go to lunch time, you can get free Jasmine tea from Okinawa. Moreover, I am grateful that I have free refills. Good for cooling a hot body.

A lot of blue seal ice cream!

Blue seal ice menu
Wide variety

For lunch, there are quite reasonable menus such as "Pork egg set meal" for 580 yen (tax included, same below) and "Bacon and eggs set meal" for 680 yen, but the dessert "Blue Seal Ice" written in the corner is the eye. pull.

When I asked the shop staff, I found that they had a wide variety of blue seal ice cream. "Coconut," "salt chinsuko," "neopolitan," "shikuwasa," "passion fruit," "chocolate cookie," "purple potato," and so on. All are 220 yen.

I ordered salted chinsuko and neopolitan. Also turmeric tea (Uchin tea, 280 yen).

Blue seal ice cream is served on one plate. Neopolitan can taste three flavors of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry at once. Even if you are familiar with each one, it is a little fun if each bite has a different scent and flavor.

Neopolitan is a strawberry, chocolate and vanilla flavor

As the name suggests, salted chinsuko is mixed with vanilla ice cream. It is slightly salty and enhances the sweetness of the ice cream. Also, the fluffy feeling of Chinsuko is an accent of moist ice cream. Both are delicious, but if you choose one of the flavors, I would recommend salted chinsuko.

Uchincha and Sanpincha

The glass of turmeric tea is also cool. But when you take a sip, the turmeric scent is strong and the sweetness of the ice cream is fluffy. For the feeling that even a slightly tired body that is tired from walking outside will feel energized. It is also good to compare it with the fluffy jasmine scent of Sanpin tea.

U-MAKU- has a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and is open at night, and sometimes people returning from events at Tokyo Big Sight such as Comiket visit.

sake. When I was looking into it, it lighted up.

When the power came out at Okinawa tea time, I returned to Shinonome station. I was lucky that the train heading for Osaki was a little vacant.
