In the first place, 7-ELEVEN's sweet food is insanely delicious and I personally love it (it goes well with milk), but this matcha taste is not unpleasant! So I tried it.


A sweet-style cake made by adding Uji matcha to the dough and finishing it in a spring-like green color. It is topped with "Kanoko beans" that go well with matcha. It's a little flatter than the usual sweet cake ...?



When it bites, it feels soft and fluffy. The sweetness that makes you feel nostalgic and the scent of matcha that is refreshing like a breeze spreads at the same time. The slight bitterness and astringency that melts when chewed and wraps around the tongue. While the overall sweetness is rather low, the loose chestnut beans can be played at the perfect timing.

It has a Japanese-style taste with matcha on the whole, so milk is good, but soy milk goes well!


By the way, if you warm it up with a toaster a little, the outside will be plump and the matcha flavor will be stronger.
