"Royal Coffee Shop Main Store" is a 6-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line. Founded in 1962. It is a coffee shop with an attractive retro atmosphere.


Lunch time from 12:00 to 14:00 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and holidays). With "Lunch Set B", you can add a drink (coffee or tea) to various bread menus for an additional 180 yen. This time, I ordered a hot sandwich (530 yen) and coffee, which are famous. Hot sandwiches are one of five types: roast pork, bacon, eggs, corned beef, and azuki beans. I chose the corned beef recommended by the clerk.


Contains melty cheese, corned beef and asparagus. The crispy feeling of fragrantly baked bread is the best! The melting cheese and corned beef go perfectly together. The texture and sweetness of the boiled asparagus is a nice accent.



Satisfaction with salad, yogurt and apple juice! The coffee in the set has a strong and refreshing aftertaste. It is finished in a cup with a moderate acidity that spreads slowly.



We also recommend the popular menu "Kamakurayama Cheesecake (400 yen each)". It's baked slowly at low temperature, and although it's baked, it has a surprisingly rare taste! You can enjoy the smooth texture that is packed with the richness of cheese.


Lightly press the sliced lemon on the cake with the back of a fork, and the refreshing flavor will be transferred to a refreshing aftertaste.
