Königskrone "Mochitto Pudding

Königskrone is a German confectionery born in Kobe. The store sells many sweets that are a collaboration of Western and Japanese flavors, including its specialty cake "Hachimitsu Altena" (honey altena).

We recently discovered a product called "Mochitto Pudding" (330 yen before tax) in the store's showcase. It is a pudding with strawbimochi rice cake in it. It is a rare combination, so we tried it right away.

Rumbling below.

It comes in a large container about 8.5 cm high. When you hold it, it is very heavy. It looks very satisfying.

The volume is well over 300 yen per piece!

The beautifully smooth pudding has a fine and moist texture. It melts smoothly in the mouth while spreading a rich flavor. It is very mild and probably loved by men and women of all ages. The richness of the egg is more pronounced than the sweetness.

I want to have this kind of glowing, moist skin.

As you continue to eat, you will find the caramel. It is more bittersweet than I had imagined, and it goes so well with the pudding! The vanilla aroma at the end is also luxurious.

Fragrant!

As you go further down the spoon, you can feel the texture of the rice cake. A large, lumpy strawbaked rice cake appears. It is a perfect combination with the smooth pudding. Each of them complemented the other without fighting each other.

There's a lot of stuff here.

There was more of it than I expected, so I ended up with a "caramelized strawb cake". The strawbimochi has a strong sweetness, but when combined with the bitter caramel, it has just the right amount of saltiness. This combination is a good one.

At a glance, it looks like molasses was poured on it.

The taste and texture changes as you eat it, from "pudding" to "pudding and caramel" to "pudding, caramel, and warabimochi" to "caramel and warabimochi. It is a large portion, but I enjoyed every last bite.
