"Dream Coffee" is a coffee shop located 7 to 8 minutes on foot from the west exit of JR Ikebukuro Station. A friend of mine who loves Ikebukuro said, "The egg toast here is really good and cheap, so try it once . I absolutely love it." So I actually came.

I went there around 10 am on weekdays. Elderly people are sucked into the store one after another while shooting the exterior with a retro atmosphere. Apparently, the age group of customers is higher. Everyone seems to be accustomed to it, and it seems that there are many regular customers.


The first impression I got when I entered the store was that I came to my beloved grandma's house for the first time in a year . It is messy as a whole, and there is nothing to do with the so-called “instagram”, such as cooking utensils lined up in the back of the store and coffee beans and retort curry sold.

A friend said "Morning is ...", so when I asked "Do you have breakfast?", He said, "There is no set, but if you combine it, it will look like that." I ordered blended coffee (220 yen including tax) and egg toast (230 yen including tax). I made a few cups of coffee and put them on the server.

It feels sour but has no peculiarity and has a smooth mouthfeel. It's amazing that you can enjoy this taste for 220 yen ... If you're near your house, you'll go there every morning.



About 10 minutes later, a cheerful voice saying, "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for the egg toast!" When I turned around and raised my hand, a lady with a very calm atmosphere brought me the toast with a smile. The egg toast presented with "Because it's hot" looks delicious.


It bites while inhaling the fragrant scent of bread and mayonnaise. After all it is good not to disappoint. A generous amount of mayonnaise on a fluffy bread, a crunchy boiled egg texture, and a parsley flavor . Thick bread is fragrant to the ears, and you won't get bored with its volume. It is understandable that there are many regular customers. You can enjoy such a delicious breakfast for a total of 450 yen.




Most of the customers have a high turnover rate and "go home immediately after drinking a little". I'm a little worried about the smell of smoke because I can smoke, but it's a recommended shop for those who want a quick, easy, good and cheap drink.
