Kurageki Coffee Shop is a coffee shop where you can enjoy the finest "siphon coffee". The morning menu is available from opening until 11:00 a.m.


Order a drink of your choice (from 370 yen) and get a free half toast and hard-boiled egg. The menu lineup is as follows.

A Sandwich Morning (one of four sandwiches)

A hearty egg sandwich (with salad) + ¥400
Maple French toast (with salad) +310 yen

Tuna and potato hot stone oven bucket sandwich +440 yen

B Bacon and Egg Morning

Half toast, bacon and eggs (topped with cheese or tomato sauce), salad +420 yen

C Salad Morning

Half toast, grilled bacon and egg salad +400 yen
Choice of dressing: Caesar dressing, sesame dressing, Japanese dressing with yuzu flavor

D. Kura Style Morning Set

Thick toast or bucket, hard-boiled egg, salad +220 yen

The author ordered the "Volumetric Egg Sandwich" sandwich morning, and the drink was the KURASHIKI Coffee Shop's original blend, KURASHIKI Blend (370 yen). The price is 831 yen (including tax) for the drink and 400 yen for the morning meal.


KURASHIKI COFFEE SHOP's siphon coffee is a little different from ordinary siphon brewing, as the coffee is ground finer and brewed in a shorter time. Because of the short brewing time, more coffee grounds are used than usual, resulting in a full-bodied coffee with a rich aroma.


You can enjoy the strong, dark flavor of this cup of coffee. Pouring it from the siphon into a cup yourself will make you feel a little more luxurious than usual.


The famous "Voluminous Egg Sandwich" is a dish with a generous portion of handmade boiled egg sandwiched on top. The egg is cut into large chunks, so you can fully enjoy the plumpness of the white and the softness of the yolk. The richness and mild flavor of the mayonnaise is also very good.


The filling of the sandwich is generous, so eating four slices will fill you up considerably. Considering that a single volume egg sandwich is usually priced at 550 yen, a drink plus a salad for 400 yen is quite a bargain!
