From 10:00 on October 1st to 15:00 on October 8th, a "new rice fair" will be held at each Gyudon chain and Matsuya store, where a large serving of rice will be free.

During the period, a large serving of rice (usually plus 60 yen) on the set meal menu will be free. Morning set meal is not applicable.

Also, on the start day of the fair, a new menu "Stir-fried pork and eggplant with spicy miso set meal" will be released. The price is 590 yen (tax included).

This is a classic autumn menu with pork and eggplant fried on an iron plate and entwined with miso sauce. Miso sauce is a blend of three types of red miso and has a sweet and spicy finish. It seems to go well with the plump and sweet new rice.
