Suddenly, what do you think when you hear "3 years"? High school days when I was devoted to club activities. It's a tedious period from getting a job to experiencing a job change for the first time. Also, it seems that three years is short, such as the sweet and sour youth when the pillow was wet with unrequited love, and when I think back on it, I realize that it was quite long.

After spending such "3 years", it was finally completed with the new flavor " Tomatti Lemon Sorbet " released by Thirty One (the introduction has become longer) ...!

This product is a sorbet that combines ripe tomato and lemon flavors. It seems that salt is added to the secret flavor. Such a combination has never been seen before! Moreover, since it is a summer-only flavor, I couldn't miss it, so I went to the store to eat it.

At Thirty One, we are holding a "Challenge the Triple " campaign where you can enjoy triples (three layers) at the price of doubles (two layers). Then there is no choice but to challenge.

For the flavors, we decided to layer "Tomatti Lemon Sorbet", " Chocolate Sorbet " released in June, and "Oreo Matcha " which is sold only in Japan until the end of July. For the cone, select "waffle cone" (+30 yen).

Challenge the Triple is available until July 30th

Tomatty Lemon Sorbet is a combination of red tomato sorbet and yellow lemon sorbet. The contrast between the two colors is brilliant in appearance, and it makes you feel like the summer sun!

Lemon sorbet is a refreshing sorbet with a crisp, fine ice on your tongue. The sourness tightens the sweetness. Tomato sorbet, on the other hand, is more mellow and richer than lemon and feels smoother on the tongue. As expected, it just says "I mashed the whole tomato"! It has the sweetness and slight acidity of tomatoes, and the presence of modest salt is shining behind it. In terms of both taste and aroma, there is no "blueness (vegetableness)" that people who dislike tomatoes often call, and it is a taste that extracts only the "delicious part" of tomatoes and hardens them tightly.

When you put two sorbets in your mouth at the same time, the first thing that stands out is the sourness of the lemon. Later, the refreshing sweetness of the tomatoes spreads, and the salt is slightly modest, just to enhance the sweetness. A perfect balance of sweetness, acidity and salt, not too sweet and not too salty. It's kind of convincing to think that it took three years to achieve this perfect balance.

You can combine it with other sorbet ice cream, or you can layer it with sweet ice cream such as vanilla or caramel ribbon. I'm sure you won't quarrel with any flavor.

In addition, the chocolate sorbet layered under the Tomatti lemon sorbet is so smooth that you can't think of it as a sorbet, and it's rich enough to entangle your tongue! Although it has the heavy bitterness and deep sweetness of cacao, it does not feel dull because it has a light mouthfeel and does not leave behind. Summer chocolate is here!

Furthermore, the matcha oreo layered underneath is more firmly bitter than I had imagined. Matcha ice cream with a strong bitterness and umami is kneaded with a bittersweet oreo. Oreo is crushed, but each grain is large, and it contains plenty of rumbling, so it is quite delicious!

By the way, I was happy to eat Matcha Oreo at the end, but if you want to finish with a refreshing mouth, you may want to put Tomatti Lemon Sorbet at the bottom. If you change the flavors and order to combine, the ways to enjoy are endless! Please enjoy the various taste changes.
