Human beings need playfulness no matter how many they become. A childlike pure imagination that constantly seeks fun and fun and works imagination is the catalyst for creating new technologies that will carry the future. An invention is such a thing.

This time, I would like to introduce a popcorn maker born from such "imagination".

Is this the "future machine"?

Dutch graphic designer Jolene Carlier has developed a machine called "Popcorn Monsoon " that makes popcorn just by throwing in corn seeds and turning on the switch.

This machine, which has a cool visual like the equipment used for experiments in the science room, was born from Carlier's passion that "it will be more fun to use if the design is good as well as functionality". "The process of making popcorn was interesting, but it wasn't very clear," Carlier said of a traditional popcorn maker.

The two containers are connected by an inverted U-shaped transparent cylinder, and when you insert the seed of the cone from the insertion slot and turn the switch "on", the seed pops and becomes a popcorn, forming a U-shaped curve. It is spit out vigorously to the cup on the other side. Certainly this is an exciting sight just by looking at it. The video is also available on the official website, so please check it out.

Carlier quotes the dialogue of the character "Willy Wonka" from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" on her homepage introducing the popcorn monsoon.

"Come with me, and you'll be in a world of pure imagination" -I'll take you to the world of imagination with me.

According to the US media Huffington Post, popcorn monsoon is currently not available for purchase, but Carlier is considering general release in the future. Eventually, the day may come when popcorn monsoons will be placed in our homes.
