The special menu "Hoppin John & BBQ Pork" will be on sale for a limited time from January 1st to 31st, 2015 at each American restaurant and Hard Rock Cafe. The price is 2,480 yen (excluding tax and service charge).


This product is a special menu that combines BBQ pork with "Hoppin'John", which can be eaten on New Year's Day as a "lucky thing" in the southern United States. Hoppin'John is a mixture of black-eyed pea and rice, and it is said that eating it will bring good fortune.

Hoppin'John is a style of stewed black eyed pea with bacon and onion and layered on butter rice. On the other hand, BBQ pork is made by slowly roasting seasoned pork ribs (280g (9.88oz)) for about 2 hours and adding BBQ sauce. It's juicy and tender, and it's said to be perfect for eating.

Served with fried zucchini and shiitake mushrooms sprinkled with Cajun spice.
