Galette des Rois is a traditional confectionery that can be eaten in France during the New Year. It is customary for family and friends to get together and enjoy carving in large numbers. A small pottery doll or toy called "Fève" is hidden inside, and it is said that those who have Fève in the carved galette will continue to be happy for one year that year. In addition, the person who hits the fève wears a "crown" and can be blessed by dressing as a "king" or "queen" for one day.
The product to be released this time is a simple-tasting pie with almond cream stuffed in the dough. The top surface has a delicate design shaped like puff pastry. One crown and one fève will be attached separately.
There are two sizes, S (14 cm) and L (21 cm), and the price is S size 1,852 yen and L size 2,777 yen (both including tax).
