I found a beautiful Japanese sweet at Natural Lawson somewhere in Tokyo. "Ramune kan" and "lemon kan" (299 yen each, tax included).
A Japanese confectionery "Kingyoku-kan" made from agar, sugar and starch syrup is placed on top of the Japanese confectionery "Awayuki" made from egg white, agar and sugar. Kindama-kan is seasoned with ramune and lemon, respectively.
Ramune sardines are topped with gold powder, and lemon sardines are topped with lemon slices.
Its glittering and glossy appearance is so beautiful that you can't think of it as a convenience store. If you cut it up and serve it on a plate, it will be as good as a hospitality dessert for visitors!
When you bring it to your mouth, the subtle sweetness of the foamy snow that melts softly, the refreshing ramune, and the sweet and sour lemon Kingyoku-kan melt in your mouth elegantly. Ramune has a nostalgic taste that reminds me of sweets. In addition to the sourness of lemon, the bittersweetness of the peel tightens the sweetness of sugar.
The crispy crispness of Kindama-kan and the smooth throat are also cool. It has a refreshing and simple taste, so it is perfect for making summer tea.
