Butter, margarine, and jam are not the only delicious toppings on bread! Everyone seems to be enjoying their own unique toast arrangements by adding "unexpected" toppings.

We have compiled a list of five of our favorite recipes from the "●● toast" that have been making the rounds on the Internet. If you haven't tried any of them yet, let's give them a try!

Yogurt

Toast Yogurt toast is made by spreading yogurt (plain) generously on bread and baking it. It may not look like much, but it's delicious and highly recommended!




The warmed yogurt has a smooth texture, almost like cream cheese! It melts slowly and thickly on the tongue, giving off the richness of milk and a hint of sourness.

The moisture from the yogurt soaks into the surface of the bread, making it moist and melt-in-your-mouth, another key to its deliciousness! You can also add sweetness by topping it with jam or honey.


If you prefer the yogurt itself to be sweet, we recommend baking it topped with "vanilla yogurt" sold by Luna Japan.

Pudding

Toast The well-known pudding toast. The familiar pudding pudding is puckered on top of the bread, crumbled with a spoon and put into the toaster.





Somehow the pudding expanded (or was it my imagination?). I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, but it's a good thing.

The warmed pudding was fluffier than room temperature! The egg and caramel sauce soaked into the bread, and you could alternately taste the crispy toasted part and the moist pudding-soaked part. It's a French toast you'll want to eat with a knife and fork!

Marshmallow

Toast Marshmallow toast has become well-known on the Internet. All you have to do is line up a bunch of marshmallows on a piece of bread and put it in the toaster.

Note that the marshmallows cook and burn quickly, so you may want to toast the bread a little beforehand.




The marshmallows have a new texture that is sticky and melts in your mouth. The crispy bread and the fluffy marshmallow fuse together in the mouth, creating a deliciously sweet taste with the aroma of toasted wheat and sugar. This sweet toast is light in texture, yet filling.

Corn Soup Toast

It is delicious to eat corn soup with bread dipped in it. Corn soup toast is an arrangement of this in reverse.

Dissolve the soup powder in a little less hot water than usual, and when it becomes a paste, spread it on the bread. Put it straight into the toaster.




When the corn in the soup is golden brown, it's ready to eat! The soup will become chunky in texture and the sweet and savory taste will spread in your mouth. The intensity of the flavor and texture depends on the amount of water used to first dissolve the flour, so adjust to your liking.

Cookie Toast Recipe

Place cookies on top of bread and bake to make melon bread-style cookie toast. If you make the "cookie dough" properly, you can make a real melon bread, but if you are lazy like me and don't want to bother making cookie dough, I recommend this recipe.

Spread butter, margarine, chocolate sauce, or any other liquid on top of the bread, and place crushed butter cookies on top. Put it straight into the toaster and when it's done, it's done!





Yummmm.... The crispy cookies, made even more savory by baking, and the light and fluffy bread combine in your mouth. It looks a bit dry, but in your mouth it's like eating a melon bread. Even if you subtract the calorie content, it's so good you'll want to do it again and again.

Try it with chocolate chip cookies, coconut cookies, almond cookies, and many other flavors.
