The second collaboration menu between Cafe Comsa and Gion Tsujiri is on sale from June 19th at "Kyo Cafe Comsa" in Kyoto. Along with Gion Tsujiri's tea, there is a lineup of menus where you can enjoy seasonal ingredients.
"Matcha Parfait" is a parfait with sweet and sour ichigo, chestnuts, warabi mochi, and Yatsuhashi on three layers of bittersweet matcha cream, matcha jelly, and mascarpone ice cream. Gion Tsujiri's high-quality matcha is used abundantly in this "Matcha Tsukushi" dish. The price is 1,500 yen (tax included, same below).
"Hojicha Parfait" is a parfait with ice cream, jelly and cream made from Gion Tsujiri's Hojicha. Japanese ingredients such as warabi mochi, red bean paste, bubuarare, and shiratama are combined with seasonal figs with a bubble wrap texture. The price is 1,500 yen.
"Hojicha soup stock and okra udon" is a summer-only udon noodle with a characteristic soup stock made from hojicha soup stock. Okra that is in season is attached. The price is 880 yen for a single item and 1,080 yen for a set (with rice and pickles).
"Obanzai-Healthy menu that makes you happy" is a daily obanzai that uses seasonal ingredients. For the tofu in the small bowl, a special sauce using the tea of Gion Tsujiri selected by the chef on that day is prepared. The price is 1,080 yen.
