The 2016 holiday season limited "Salmon and Calrose Stew Pot Pie" will be on sale at 10 DEAN & DELUCA stores nationwide. The period is 3 days from December 23rd to 25th. The price is 1,080 yen (tax included).

This is the product that won the highest award in the deli category at the "4th Calrose Cooking Content 2016" sponsored by the USA Rice Federation. It is a combination of butter rice made from Californian medium-grain rice "Calrose" and creamy and rich salmon stew. Calrose is characterized by its light texture and chewy texture that can be called al dente.

It was developed by Chef Sakuta of Dean & DeLuca Shinagawa store. The jury of the contest said that it was a deli-like menu with a well-balanced calrose, ingredients, and pie.
