A series that introduces the "secret masterpiece" behind the specialty. 36 items are "Curry Udon" from Curry House CoCo (here) Ichibanya.
Curry House CoCo Ichibanya (commonly known as Cocoichi) is a popular curry specialty chain where you can customize curry with a wide variety of toppings. It has 1,441 stores in Japan and overseas (as of the end of September 2016).
The curry udon introduced this time is a soup curry udon made with Cocoichi curry. The price is 699 yen (tax included, same below). Some stores do not handle it.
The soup is thick and thick, not much different from ordinary curry. Seafood soup stock, milk, roasted onions, etc. are added to further enhance the richness and umami.
The ingredients are green onions and pork. The crispy texture and refreshing flavor of the green onion add a nice accent to the rich curry. I also want a little more pork, but it's soft and delicious.
The combined udon is thick. It is a chewy and chewy type that goes well with rich curry soup. The volume is also perfect.
I also added a soft-boiled egg (72 yen), which is introduced as a recommended combination on the official website.
It would be the right way to put it on the curry udon side, but this time I ate it with udon on a small plate of soft-boiled egg. This way, you can enjoy a few mouthfuls with plenty of yolk flavor. Mild, rich and delicious.
In addition to the soft-boiled egg, it is also recommended to add rice. The remaining soup is mixed with rice and it is delicious twice, so if you can eat a lot, please do.
