Tomatama Curry Udon

Tomatama Curry Udon" was first sold for a limited time in September last year and sold more than 1 million servings in about a month, receiving many positive comments on social networking sites such as "The sour and spicy flavors are delicious together," "Once you try it, you will be addicted to it," and "I want it on the regular menu. It was such a big hit that many stores sold out.

The sweetness and sourness of the vegetables and cayenne pepper create an exquisite balance, and the aftertaste is refreshing and clean. One bite is followed by the deep richness of the curry broth, and then the sourness of the tomatoes and the sweetness of the vegetables. The refreshing spiciness that follows makes this an addictive dish.

The foundation of the flavor is grated ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and cayenne pepper, which is the key to the spiciness. The dish is then mixed with Marugame Seimen's special curry broth, which is packed with flavor, and fresh tomatoes cut into large pieces at the restaurant are boldly added. A beaten egg is added to bring out the sourness and sweetness for a rich flavor.

The sticky noodles, made only with Japanese wheat, salt, and water, have a presence that is as strong as that of the Tomatama Curry. Tomatama Curry is made with aromatic white dashi broth, which is made every few hours in the restaurant, so it goes perfectly with the freshly cooked udon noodles.
