The En-eating editorial department has sampled the Halloween menu "Halloween Cocktail 2016" that only adults can enjoy at the Strings Hotel Tokyo Intercontinental (Shinagawa, Tokyo).


Halloween Cocktail is a set plate with chocolate and cocktails. The decoration spider webs are hand-painted, so each one has a slightly different facial expression.

What is worrisome is a syringe containing a red liquid. The contents are cocktails. Based on rum and malibu, "red" is added with cranberry juice.


If you put this in a rounded chocolate, it tastes like "bonbon"! The point is not to overfill the cocktail. We recommend that you stop at most half. If you put it to the edge of the chocolate, it looks very beautiful, but it may be too thick to eat.

There are three colors of chocolate, so enjoy the difference in taste.



Another unique cocktail is a "vegetable" based smoothie. There are three types of ginger, "carrot", "pumpkin" with a flavor like pumpkin pudding, and "avocado" with banana liqueur.

A mysterious feeling that the "vegetable" feeling remains more firmly than I imagined! It's easy to misunderstand the taste, but it has a certain degree of frequency, so by the time you return, you'll get tipsy.



Matching with champagne was popular among men. Certainly chocolate and champagne go well together.
