A new sweet and sour cake perfect for early summer!

Have you eaten the new cake "Lemon Cream Pie" (440 yen plus tax) that has been on sale since June at each Starbucks store? A sweet and sour pie cake using "Setouchi Lemon". First introduced this year, it will be on sale for a limited time until July 14th.

When you gently drop the fork, you will feel the light elasticity of the meringue. When you put a bite on it, the meringue melts softly and the gentle sweetness is fluffy. It gently wraps the acidity of Kyun and sour lemon.

In addition, Starbucks also sells the new pastry "Danish Stick Lemon Cream" (270 yen plus tax) and "Lemon Poppy Seed Scone" (260 yen plus tax) using "domestic lemons".

Danish stick lemon cream is a Danish pastry with plenty of butter sandwiched between refreshing lemon cream. Lemon cream is made by combining oil extracted from lemon juice and condensed milk from Hokkaido.

When you put it on the dough, the butter flavor fills your mouth. Then, the mellow sour lemon cream melts from the inside. It goes well with coffee (I personally recommend black!), So it's perfect for breakfast and snacks in early summer.

If you warm it lightly before eating, the fluffy dough will become crispy like a pie, and the lemon cream inside will melt and double the deliciousness! If you want to take it out and eat it, be sure to warm it up with a toaster before eating.
