First landing in Japan! What is "Exkimomo"?

The chocolate festival "Salon du Chocolat 2016" will finally begin on January 27th in Japan. At the venue, there will be a menu that you can enjoy at eat-in.

At the Jean-Paul Evan booth, it is said that Japan's first landing "Exkimomo" will be demonstrated and sold ... Who is this ??

The En-eating editorial department entered the venue a little earlier with the card members. I have experienced the eat-in menu "Exkimomo" that I am interested in.

◆ Ice bar where you can enjoy the “difference in cacao”

Exkimomo is an ice cream bar. Vanilla ice cream is coated with chocolate sauce and topped with caramelized almonds. The menu is sold only at "CHOCOLATE BAR (RE)" in Paris, France.

The lineup is "Madagascar", "Venezuela", and "Saotome", which was unveiled for the first time in Japan. Three types of cacao from different origins are used.

At the venue, you can eat and compare two of these (1,080 yen including tax) or three (1,620 yen including tax). The author chose Saotome and Madagascar, which was recommended as unique.

It ’s smaller than France so it ’s easier to eat and compare.

◆ The point is the afterglow

Well, if you compare them by eating. Madagascar has a refreshing scent like orange at the beginning and then disappears cleanly. Fruity by rushing with vanilla. It was a nostalgic taste.

On the other hand, Saotome is spicy compared to Madagascar, and above all, the afterglow of a pleasant bitterness is impressive. It was my first taste.

If you choose these two types, the last one is Saotome! I want you to enjoy the scent that remains in your mouth.

In order to feel the scent of cacao, it is recommended that you do not chew and swallow it immediately, but enjoy it slowly while melting chocolate and ice cream in your mouth. One person may run out of three species.

You see, it's ice cream ...

◆ Limited chocolate drinks

In addition, a limited number of hot chocolate drinks and bonbon chocolate sets are also available. Why don't you take a break in the eat-in space with the same street art theme as this year's chocolate.
